I Am Who I Want to Be

Thank you for this day.

All of my heart-centered dreams are coming true.  I am who I want to be, and I’m living the life I want to live.  While there will always be goals I am working towards to progress my life forward, I am aware that my life is a process, a journey of self discovery, and while attaining goals feels amazing, the bulk of my life is made up of all the moments, the step by step processes, in between achieving goals.  Daily life is a reason to celebrate, which includes the goals as well as the journey.  Self care is highly supportive of the ability to celebrate each day as a gift (it requires energy to feel grateful).

True happiness, I believe, is a quiet gift offered in the mundane.  All of the beauty and greatness I desire to achieve in my life is already available to me within the ever-lasting moment that I am, and is not determined by my external circumstances.

My being is a generator of feeling, experience, perspective, and choice.  If my state of being is dependent upon my external life, then I experience instability within myself, for it is always changing.  My practice today is to stay connected to the abundance and prosperity that I am within myself, and to use that as my source of stability and wealth.  In doing so, I am sourced from within.

I am who I want to be, and I’m living the life I want to live.  Being an artist and an entrepreneur, my career life is always a quest and a process.  I don’t rely on a job of set hours and pay, or predetermined steps laid out before me by any predecessors.  Sometimes its hard for me to see and realize that I have what I want, I think most of all because what I have doesn’t look the way I had imagined it to be.

When I zoom out and look at my adult life, I see that at any given point I had something that at a previous time I did not have, yet desired.

May I be aware each day of my blessings and achievements.  Most of all I am celebrating that I am who I want to be, and I’m living the life I want to live.
